Quit Sugar Now! The 6-week plan

You must quit sugar.

Sugar is addictive, and it has the addictive quality of a drug. You will crave it, but after a few days of no sugar, the cravings go away. The more you eat, the longer it may take to adjust.  But you will.

If you are fighting cancer this is essential.  Eating sugar makes your body a friendly place for cancer and other diseases.

Week 1: quit soft drinks and bottled juice

Week 2: replace cereal breakfast, with eggs or unsweetened yogurt

Week 3: quit candy, cakes, cookies, muffins, granola bars and gum

Week 4: cut out sugar from tea and coffee

Week 5: reduce bread, pasta and rice intake by 50%.

For example, if you have bread for lunch, don’t have bread products for supper

Week 6: reduce alcohol consumption

Limit drinks to 1 per day.  Red wine is best, white wine or beer is second best.  Avoid other types of alcohol
